now started to issue selected models of their Beetle speedometer
watches in MPH as well as km/h. For the first MPH model, we are pleased
to introduce the Beetle 1960 MPH version (US$240), a perfectly
miniaturized speedometer that is really a fine watch, made in Germany,

Pictured here is a made-in-Germany watch with a Swiss quartz movement, which almost exactly renders the speedometer of the first Volkswagen Beetle from 1946. Other watches from Bavarian Crono are based on the speedometers of vintage Jaguar and Mercedes Benz automobiles.
