About the watch: This gorgeous
German-made timepiece is based on the speedometer of a widely coveted
automobile -- the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing of 1954. This watch is a
miniaturized version of the speedometer, faithfully reproduced down to
the smallest detail.
Bavarian Crono has added elegant watch hands and a Swiss movement,
making this one of the most unusual watches any vintage or classic car
enthusiast could possibly own. Then, as now, a Mercedes-Benz car
incorporated instruments that could clearly be read, and with a simple
yet elegant design. All perfect attributes of a luxury German-made
mechanical timepiece, such as this one.
